Benjamin Adebayo, MD

Gynecology and Obstetrics / Obstetrics

Biography

Dr. Adebayo graduated from the University of Georgia for his undergraduate studies. He went on to finish medical school and residency at the University of Toledo. He also studied public health at Emory University. He came to work for Woodlawn in 2020.

“I like Woodlawn for the camaraderie among the medical professionals,” he said.

When asked what he likes about being an OBGYN, he stated, “This specialty combines a lot of things I enjoy so I do not know if there is one favorite thing. Counseling women through all stages of life and playing a role in the miracle of life by handing a baby to their mother gives me great satisfaction. The diversity inherent within the specialty (obstetrics, surgery, gynecology) in addition to the opportunity to care for women over the years while building long-term relationship-all combine to make the specialty interesting, challenging and engaging all at the same time.”

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Adebayo enjoys traveling and getting to know other parts of this great country and beautiful world. He also enjoys hanging out with friends and family while playing games, grilling, watching movies or doing Bible study.
