Dr. Geoffrey Cly’s college career began at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He then attended Wright State University School of Medicine and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in Dayton, Ohio as well. He is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Cly has over 25 years of experience in OBGYN. He came to work for Woodlawn Hospital in 2019.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to provide expert maternity care, holistic women’s health care, and robotic minimally invasive surgeries to patients at Woodlawn Hospital. The same excellent healthcare that patients from larger cities receive but now on a local level,” he said.

Dr. Cly started college as a pre-law major until he saw a video during biology class called the ‘Miracle of Life’ . The video showed a real birth of a baby and from that moment he knew that he wanted to deliver babies and bring life into the world. Dr. Cly switched his major that day and then went to went to medical school with a desire to be an OBGyn. Dr. Cly feels blessed to be able to care for generations of women and now is delivering babies of the women he delivered when they were newborn babies.

When Dr. Cly is not caring for patients, he enjoys creating large firework shows, mountain biking, and spending time with his family and children.
